Veteran Nigerian actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo, revealed to the public why he won’t be celebrating his 61st birthday.
His birthday was on March 1 and unlike his usual mood of celebration, he decided to not celebrate this year.
On his Instagram page, he revealed that the outcome of the election had a role to play in his decision.

The talented actor made it known to the public that he wasn’t celebrating his birthday because of the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.
In fact, because of the results of the election, he canceled all celebrations he planned on carrying out this year.
Analyzing the result of the election, Kanayo who is a loyal member of the Labour Party voiced that INEC didn’t run a fair election.
In his opinion, a lot of insincerity occurred in the electoral process and he blamed INEC for not ensuring transparent vote counts.
All these and other reasons resulted in his decision not to celebrate. He said that the heart of Nigerians are bleeding and so he can’t be celebrating.
