The NNPP’s presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso won over Kano state by a wide margin.
Ahmed Bola Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress, APC, received 517,314 votes in, but Kwankwaso received 997,279 votes to defeat him in 34 local government areas.
The Wazirin Adamawa of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, received 131,716 votes, whereas Peter Obi, the candidate of the Labor Party, LP, received 28,513 votes in the end.
