Innoson, a Nigerian automobile manufacturer has withdrawn the scholarship they awarded Mmesoma Ejikeme, a student in Anambra.
The drama of whether Mmesoma, a student at the Anglican Girls Secondary School in Nnewi, Anambra State has finally come to an end after it was revealed that she truly falsified her JAMB result.
Recall that the young lady made headlines when she was accused by JAMB of inflating her results from 249 to 362 which she vociferously denied doing.

The back-and-forth argument elicited a thorough investigation when the Anambra Government set up an eight-member panel of inquiry led by Professor Nkemdili Nnonyelu.

After investigation, it was revealed that Mmesoma has indeed fabricated her results on Friday.
Stepping forward to the social space, the student eventually confessed to being guilty of the falsification.
According to her, she fabricated the result by changing it to 362 before she even went to the cyber cafe center to print out her results.
Reacting to her confessions, Innoson Motors spokesperson, Mr. Osigwe revealed that they were withdrawing their scholarship.
“In line with these principles and in response to the confirmed findings, we have made the difficult decision to withdraw the scholarship awarded to Miss Joy Mmesoma Ejikeme. This action is a testament to our unyielding commitment to honesty, integrity, and merit-based recognition.
“We acknowledge that this development is regrettable, and it has undoubtedly caused dismay among those who stood by Miss Joy including her school principal and other well-meaning supporters. However, it is crucial to maintain the integrity of our scholarship program and the values it represents,” he said.

Meanwhile, given the recent forgery case involving Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma, it was proven online by a young individual that it is indeed possible to generate a barcode and manipulate the resulting information as desired.
In response to a Twitter post that was comparing various QR codes, aiming to contribute to the ongoing discussion regarding the girl’s outcome, the man with the username @david_saint_ shared an additional code and encouraged individuals to scan it.
The young Nigerian man openly shared a self-generated QR code containing a fictitious JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board) score of 390. By doing so, he showed that anyone has the ability to fabricate their scores and assign themselves any desired name.
