JAMB vs Mmesoma Ejikeme – Reno Omokri, others react to the drama

The alleged falsification of the JAMB result by a student of the Anglican girl secondary school in Nnewi, Anambra state has caused controversy amongst Nigerians.

It all started when the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) accused a young teenager identified as Mmesoma Ejikeme of forging her 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation (UTME) result.

Giving their final verdict the JAMB officials announced on Tuesday, July 4, that Ejikeme has now been banned from taking the exam for three years.

According to Cable, the spokesperson of JAMB, Fabian Benjamin stated that the examination board decided to withdraw the student’s result.

Addressing the issue, the Anambra police represented by the spokesperson, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu stated that what was happening regarding JAMB and the young girl had not been reported to them by the examination board.

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri also blasted those insulting the JAMB officials as he stated that if anyone was against their decision then they should bring in their evidence to refute their words.

Just recently, a man identified as Gaius Chibueze popularly known as Bitcoin Chief stated that he was ready to sponsor the young girl to any university of her choice in the UK, US, or Canada and he was against the accusation that she cheated.

Meanwhile, a former Minister of Education, Obiageli Ezekwesili, reacted to the controversy surrounding the Anambra student JAMB UTME score, involving Mmesoma Ejikeme and the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Ezekwesili emphasized the need for a thorough forensic investigation to uncover the undisclosed details of the situation.

Taking to her Twitter handle @obyezeks on Monday, July 3, she revealed that she had reached out to the JAMB registrar, Prof Ishaq Olarewaju Oloyede, regarding the matter.
