Nigerian man got approval from Guinness World Record for 200 hours of singing

A Nigerian man got approval from Guinness World Record for 200 hours of singing.

Oluwatobi Kufeji Àlejòpàtàkì, a saxophonist from Nigeria, embarked on a praise and worship marathon in Lagos with the aim of breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon.

On June 10, he announced on Instagram that his request to conduct a 200-hour singing marathon had been approved by the relevant authorities.

He also hinted at his intention to challenge the current record for the longest concert by a solo artist at a later date.

A video shared on his Instagram page showed Oluwatobi already surpassing 25 hours into his singing marathon since its commencement on July 1, 2023.

The Nigerian man got approval from Guinness World Record for 200 hours of singing and had people around cheering for him.

The current record for the longest singing marathon by an individual is held by Sunil Waghmare of India, who achieved 105 hours of continuous singing from March 3 to March 7, 2012, in Nagpur, India.

In other news, Halima Cissé of Mali achieved a groundbreaking milestone by giving birth to nine healthy babies simultaneously, setting a new Guinness World Record.

The premature delivery occurred via a caesarean section during Halima’s 30th week of pregnancy.
