Yahoo boys in Oyo state reportedly gifts Mikano generator to Church for not condemning their fraudulent activities

  • A group of internet fraudsters reportedly gifted an industrial generator to a church in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, an industrial generator to express their gratitude.
  • The senior pastor of their former church would criticize the fraudulent activities of Yahoo boys, which had caused them to stop attending church meetings.
  • The young boys expressed their gratitude for the other church by giving them the generator for not condemning their activities, unlike other places of worship.

According to a Twitter user, identified as Chris Popoola, a generator was given by the fraudsters to a church that was said to have condoned their fraud activities, rather than speak against them.

Speaking about this on the platform, the young boys expressed their gratitude for the church by giving them the generator for not condemning their activities, unlike other places of worship.

Chris also stated that during his time as a student pastor at a church near the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho (LAUTECH), the senior pastor of his church would criticize the fraudulent activities of Yahoo boys, which had caused them to stop attending church meetings.

Yahoo boys in Oyo state reportedly gifts

According to him, the boys finally left the pastor’s church to join a church nearby that welcomed them openly

He further disclosed that after a little while, people began talking that the Yahoo boys had purchased a noiseless generating set, commonly known as a “Mikano gen,” as a group.

According to this, they did this as a token of their appreciation for the church that welcomed them without condemnation.

In his words:

“When I was a student pastor in a church in the LAUTECH area, I remember how Yahoo boys stopped coming to our church and flocked to this other church because my senior pastor wouldn’t stop warning them.

Not long after, we heard that the Yahoo boys bought a Mikano gen for this other church. The point of my story is this: sinners know where to go when they want to hear the truth of God’s word, and they know where to go when they seek validation.”.

Don’t let yourself be a place that validates a sinful lifestyle; instead, be a place where they find conviction by the Holy Spirit,”.
