Albert Bangura, a native of Sierra Leonne, graduated with outstanding honours from Bahcesehir Cyprus University with a degree in computer engineering. His remarkable work earned him the top graduating student award overall for 2023 from the university’s Office of International Students.
When he learned of his success via email, Albert referred to it as a “jaw-dropping” accomplishment and a “dream come true” for him.

In his words:
“I am truly honored to be recognized as the best graduating student of my department and the overall best student of the Class of 2023. It’s a dream come true for me, and I am grateful for all the support and opportunities that the university has provided.”
”However, the one that really got me overwhelmed with joy today was when I was informed and congratulated by the Office of International students that I am the OVERALL BEST GRADUATING STUDENT, Class of 2023,” he added.
The university chancellor was similarly impressed by Albert’s outstanding achievements and asked him to his office to receive his congratulations.
