An exceptionally brilliant black boy named Ian Taylor Schlitz made headlines after he bagged a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Texas, United States, when he was only 15 years old.
Ian Taylor comes from a family of geniuses. His elder sister, Haley (who completed a bachelor’s degree at 16 and was accepted into 9 law schools), is just about three years older and scored an impressive 149/150 in an intelligence test, while Ian scored 148.
Their mum, who took them to the intelligence test, decided to homeschool her children after discovering that they possess some rare traits.

“As a homeschooling family, my mother was determined to create an educational environment for each of us that allowed us to grow at our own speed. She built an entire curriculum based on our likes and core skills…She taught a lot of that since she has a B.S. in chemistry, and we did a lot of extracurricular activities,” Haley explained.
As a teenager, Ian Taylor was admitted to the University of Northern Texas (UNT), where he studied Integrative Studies; he graduated magna cum laude from the University in 2021.
A lover of esports
Aside from being a bookworm, Ian is also a lover of esports, which led him to launch his gaming company Kidlamity Gaming in 2018. He aims to meet the needs of kids to have safe and deliberate spaces in esports via his company.
The now 18-year-old is a second-year MBA student at Tarleton State University after choosing the school despite getting several other MBA offers from different institutions.
Ian Taylor is a member of many scholar networks, including Davidson Young Scholar and American Mensa, the Mensa Honor Society, and the National Black MBA Association.

Brilliant 18-year-old lady bags PhD
Meanwhile, an 18-year-old genius achieved an outstanding feat after she bagged a PhD at such a young age.
The lady, identified as Thessalonika Arzu-Embry (Tessa Embry), completed a PhD in Aviation Psychology from Capella University, Minneapolis, USA.
She wrote her name in gold, becoming one of America’s youngest Doctorate degree holders.
