The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board has received an apology from Ejikeme Mmesoma for falsifying her UTME results.
Mmesoma apologised for what she did in a video that TheCable posted on Twitter, claiming it was inappropriate.
Mmesoma gained notoriety after stating that she passed the UTME in 2023 with a score of 362.

Ejikeme Mmesoma reads letter of apology to JAMB in Public
Mmesoma did not receive a 362 in the JAMB exam, according to investigations, but a 249. She faked the outcome, according to the body.
As a result of the Anambra state government’s finding that the forgery allegation was valid, she was required to apologise to JAMB.
Mmesoma may be seen reading her letter of apology in the most recent video while being filmed in full front of the cameras.
She argued that mercy should be used as a counterbalance to justice and called for a reassessment of the JAMB ban that had been imposed on her.
Her words:
“I have already admitted that what I did was wrong. I apologise for all the apportioned blame. and all the pain I have caused. Ignorance played a role in my action. This is the first time in my life and academic studies that I will be accused of any form of misbehaviour. It is not in my character and personality. Therefore, I plead for leniency.”
