In Kogi state, some women have taken to the streets to protest against the result of the senatorial election in their area.
The women who were in white attire protested as a group on the streets of Kogi state to persuade the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to give accurate results to their votes adding that Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan should be the Senator-Elect.
Natasha had earlier complained of the injustice in the electoral results which led to the All Progressive Party (APC) candidate, Abubakar Sadiku-Ohere winning the February 25 election.
Meanwhile, the white ritual is done in Kogi state to cast the ancestral spirits of war against those who cheat or cause pain to the land.
According to Tribune Kogi state women have however defended their chosen candidate, Natasha Akpoti stating that she deserve to have won the Senatorial election.

Meanwhile, Bianca Ojukwu, the widow of former Biafra president, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, threw shades at the former first lady of Anambra after she lost the senatorial election.
Competing under the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Mrs Bianca lost the election to Tony Nwoye, a Labour Party candidate.
Bianca mocked Ebele for taking up a space someone else would’ve occupied in the election.
