A Nigerian lady shared photos of old naira N1000, N500 and N200 notes that she was keeping as memorabilia.
She shared on Twitter that she would be adding those notes to a collection of currencies of the countries she had visited.
The photos she posted on Twitter showed a very fine box with some foreign currencies and coins well arranged in it.

All this money for memories?
Many Nigerians had mixed reactions towards her move to save the old naira notes. While some thought it was a good idea, others said they do not have that much to spare for a memory.

Nigerian family rejects old naira notes as bride price due to CBN deadline
Meanwhile, certain transactions, including pre-wedding arrangements, have been impacted by the CBN’s January 31 deadline for the usage of old naira notes.
A family in Niger State’s Gbako local government area refused old N1,000 and N500 notes from a man who wanted to marry their daughter.
The suitor’s family visited the future in-laws with a specific amount of cash for the bride price and other expenses according to Daily Trust.
