A Nigerian man has filed for a divorce two days after tieing the knot with his wife because of a family issue.
Abdulla A Abdullah took to the microblogging platform, Twitter to seek advice from social media users regarding a family matter.
He narrated that a married man decided to divorce his wife because of her attitude toward his mother on their wedding day.

According to him, during their marriage ceremony, the groom’s mother had some guests who came at a time when the food had finished.
Mother begs her son to not divorce his newly wedded wife
The mother-in-law who knew that her daughter-in-law had kept some food somewhere for her guests who were coming at a later time approached her and asked her for a bit for the guest that had just arrived.
However, things went out of control when the bride refused the mother’s request, her response did not please the mother-in-law who grabbed a plate and scooped the food.
Her action elicited a violent response from the bride as she grabbed the plate back from her mother-in-law, then returned it to the cooler.
The angry mother immediately gave her a slap which the wife returned, the drama between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law was met with disappointment from the husband who didn’t react at that time.
However, two days later the groom insisted that he wanted to annul their marriage, the mother pleaded with her son to let it go but he refused.

Reactions as divorced women in an association welcome new member
Meanwhile, a group of women has dropped many jaws after a video of the initiation of a new member into their association circulated the internet.
In the clip making rounds on the internet, the women were captured initiating another member into their divorced Nigerian women group leaving many in shock.
The women danced, jubilated and even did a cake for the newest addition in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
