A Nigerian man identified as Tobechukwu has taken to social media to share details of an incident that had happened to his brother, involving the Force Criminal Unit, Oyo.
In his posts, Tobechukwu stated that his brother had received an unexpected bank deposit of N400,000 in his account on June 6.Â
According to him, his brother called his bank to verify and make inquiries concerning the huge sum he had unexpectedly received.

He claimed that although his brother had asked the bank to retrieve the money, he was not given access to the bank account.
Later, his brother received a letter from the Force Criminal Investigation Department FCID Alagbon requesting him to come to the station for questioning.
He is soliciting for help now as his brother had been taken into custody by Nigerian policemen in Oyo.
In his words:
“THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!
My brother just got picked up by a team of @PoliceNG from his office some minutes ago.
Apparently, he received a strange alert on his phone of N400,000 two days ago. He reported to his bank to know what happened & it should be returned, but no reasonable response was given.
The following day he got a letter to be at FCID Alagbon, which he went with his lawyer this morning.
They were told it is an ongoing investigation of a 10million naira stolen from the account of a kidnapped man by kidnappers.
The 10m was distributed to several other accounts; & unfortunately he is one of those picked up this afternoon by men of the @PoliceNG from Ibadan, Oyo state.
Another person is being picked from Agege too before heading to Ibadan.
I have got so many questions…
Where did the kidnappers get the account?
Also this is an account that is dormant. He doesn’t use the account.“

Meanwhile, a Nigerian man has been dragged to pieces on social media after he instructed a lady to quit her job and threatened her for refusing his marriage proposal.
In a series of tweets by @RejiYates, she narrated the conversation she had with the man who knows her parents.
According to her, the young man who is well known by her family members texted her and asked if he could go ahead to speak to her parents about marrying her.
