A young Black lady posted a video of the moment she grabbed the mic from a White educator forcefully at her graduation ceremony.
The Black lady, identified as Kadia on TikTok revealed that she saw the White educator partially remove the mic from some Black graduates as they were walking across the stage on graduation day.
According to her, she used the mic to express her displeasure at the White lady and her co-educators who had acted in an unfair manner towards the Black graduates.

In her words:
“… she cut my name off at graduation when I was speaking; I couldn’t just let that happen because I feel like I went through so much to graduate.”
According to Kadia, she wanted to reclaim the spotlight after the White educator denied her the opportunity to do so when it was her turn to declare her name and programme.
In the video, the Black lady was wrestling to snatch the mic away from the White educator to vent her anger about being prevented from announcing her full name.
In her words:
“I want the mic. Let go … you didn’t let me get my moment,” she said before mentioning her name to the audience that mostly looked on.
I’m graduating today. I don’t like how you snatched the mic out of my hand, so today is going to be all about me,” she added before dropping the mic.

Meanwhile, a naturally beautiful blacked-skinned woman has elicited reactions from social media users after she revealed pictures of herself when she bleached her skin.
In a video posted by one @dengajith91 on TikTok, a young child was heard in the background questioning her mother regarding bleach her skin after she saw her mothers wedding pictures where she was light-skinned.
“Mummy why did you bleach your skin?, I can’t recognize you, i love the black skin, it seems like you didn’t love yourself,” the young kid chastised.
